Republic Moldova - with Minister of Foreign Affairs Tudor Ulianovschii
Club Afternoon Maximilianeum
Report:
The day after the security conference in Munich, the Foreign Ministry presented Tudor Ulianovschi Moldova, which, like Ukraine and Georgia, is associated with the European Union and, as Russia's neighbour, also strives for good relations with the Russian Federation. In a lively discussion, the possible fields of cooperation for Bavarian companies were explored. In any case, it is worth keeping an eye on Moldova not only because of the world's largest wine cellar and the wines cultivated in this country. Here is the presentation about Moldova> and short explanations to the slides>
Proclamation:
H. E. Tudor Ulianovschii, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Moldova, extends his stay after the Munich Security Conference and is available for a lecture.
"More security and confidence in Europe"
H. E. Tudor Ulianovschii Foreign Minister of the Republic of Moldova
Monday, 19 February 2018,16:00 hrs
Bavarian Parliament - Maximilianeum, Hall 1 (Old building, 1st floor)
This is an excellent opportunity to get first-hand information.
The Munich Security Conference from 16 to 18 February 2018 will address the future of foreign and security policy in Europe. By increasing the NATO member states' military budgets to 2% of GDP, NATO intends to counter the increasing threats to security. This also arouses fears among our European neighbour Russia.
How can we restore confidence and credibility in security policy in the common European house? How can a common European response to global threats be found?
Tudor Ulianovschii, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Moldova, will also take part in the Security Conference. Moldova was a Soviet republic until 1991, since then it has been an independent state and neighbour of the European Union, confronted with a "frozen conflict" after independence, interested in good relations with its neighbour Russia and the EU. Moldova is a prototype for all the issues we are interested in as European neighbours in terms of security policy. We are delighted that Foreign Minister Tudor ULIANOVSCHII will be available to the OWWF for a club evening on the day after the security conference and cordially invite you to do so.
Please note the changed starting time (16:00 hrs), the changed hall and the safety regulations for events in the Bavarian Parliament.
Registration deadline is Friday, 16 February 2018.
