Congratulations on Mikhail Gorbachev's 90th birthday with an article by Christian Holtz
Denkendorf in the district of Eichstätt has been twinned with the central district of Presnia in Moscow since the 1980s. In 1992, it was honoured to receive a visit from Mikhail Gorbachev and his wife Raissa, who together with Christian Holtz, medical doctor in the municipality and OWWF Country Representative Russian Federation, unveiled a monument to Bavarian-Russian friendship.
