Managing Vice President Hermann Pönisch visits cattle breeding and food processing with the BMB Trade Group
At the request of the Uzbek Embassy, Gf. Vice President Hermann Pönisch supervised a three-member delegation of the BMB Trade Group on 19 and 20 November 2019, headed by CEO Bekzod Mamatkulov. On the first day, Mirgiyos Azimov, First Secretary of the Embassy from the Economic and Trade Department, was also present during the talks. The BMB Tade Group is one of the largest companies in Uzbekistan and has several business areas (http://bmb-tg.uz/site/affiliated).
This time, the interest was particularly focused on cattle breeding and food processing. Therefore we visited the cattle insemination station Greifenberg, where we were informed in detail by the managing director Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Agr. Univ. Helmut Goßner and afterwards the butcher school in Ausgsburg, where the head of the school, Mr. Anton Schreistetter, showed us the machinery at which the apprentices and master students of the butcher trade are trained.
The visitors were very impressed by the high standard both in agriculture and in food production. We agreed to remain in direct contact and to extend the relationships to the other business areas of the BMB Trade Group.
